My Cluj-London flight was 5 hours late and the airline refused me twice. I filled in the form one evening and 7 weeks later I had €400 in my account.

Three steps, and we do the hard part
You enter your flight details once. Everything else, from the claim to the airline through to enforcement, is on us.
Check your flight
Enter the route, the date and what happened. We tell you on the spot whether you are owed compensation and how much.
Sign online
Sign the mandate from your phone and upload your boarding pass or booking confirmation. It takes a minute.
Get paid
We negotiate with the airline and, if it refuses, take it to court at our expense. You receive the compensation minus our fee.
Situations covered by Regulation 261/2004
The European regulation protects every passenger departing from an EU airport, regardless of nationality or ticket price.
Delayed flight
You arrived at your destination at least 3 hours later than scheduled.
Cancelled flight
The airline cancelled the flight less than 14 days before departure.
Denied boarding
You were not allowed on board because of overbooking, despite holding a valid ticket.
Missed connection
Your first flight was late, you missed the connection and reached your final destination over 3 hours late.
Compensation depends on distance, not on the ticket price
A €10 low-cost ticket gives you the same compensation as a business class fare.
On routes over 3,500 km the airline may halve the amount if the arrival delay was under 4 hours. Distance is measured as the crow flies between the departure airport and the final destination, including for flights with a stopover.
One fee, deducted only from the money recovered
of the compensation received. Nothing upfront, nothing if we lose, including court fees and lawyers' fees.
- You advance nothingAll costs of the procedure, including court costs, are borne by us until the money comes in.
- No hidden chargesThe fee covers everything: case review, correspondence with the airline, representation and the bank transfer.
- Clear contract, signed onlineYou receive the mandate by e-mail before signing. You can withdraw within 14 days at no cost.
- We see it throughIf the airline refuses or stays silent, we file a court action through our partner lawyers.
What passengers who got their money back say
Our return flight from Lisbon was cancelled 3 days before. For four people we received €1,600, and all I sent was the tickets and my ID.
The airline blamed the weather, although the other flights that day departed. Jet Claim went to court and won. It took longer, but I paid nothing upfront.
What to know before you file a claim
How much can I get for a delayed flight?
The amount is fixed and depends only on the flight distance: €250 for routes up to 1,500 km, €400 between 1,500 and 3,500 km (or any route within the EU) and €600 for routes over 3,500 km outside the EU.
Compensation is per passenger, not per booking. A family of four on a Bucharest-London flight delayed over 3 hours receives 4 x €400, that is €1,600.
What conditions must be met?
The flight must have departed from an EU airport (or Norway, Iceland, Switzerland, the UK) or arrived in the EU on a European airline. The delay on arrival at the final destination must be at least 3 hours, and the cause must not be an extraordinary circumstance.
You must have had a confirmed booking and checked in on time, unless the flight was cancelled.
How much does Jet Claim cost?
Nothing upfront. Our fee is 25% + VAT of the compensation recovered and is deducted only once the airline has paid. If we recover nothing, you owe nothing, even when the case goes to court.
How long until I get the money?
Many airlines pay within 4 to 8 weeks of receiving the claim. When the airline refuses or does not reply, the case goes to the national authority or to court, and it can take several months. We keep you posted at every step.
Can I claim for a flight from two years ago?
Yes. In Romania the limitation period is 3 years from the flight date. Other countries differ (for example 6 years in the UK, 1 year in Belgium). We check the applicable period for each case.
